Psychotherapy is an opportunity to unravel problems and gain clarity about issues that might have been plaguing us for years, sometimes without us even
knowing it.
We choose psychotherapy for many different reasons:
We might seek help because of a sudden life crisis such as a bereavement or job loss. Or perhaps we have come to a cross roads in our lives and need support to make the necessary choices.
Some of us may come for help with understanding on-going problems in our lives such as work stress, relationship challenges, health or family problems or long term problems stemming from childhood.
And some of us simply know that something fundamental is missing from our lives. We are unable to pinpoint a specific problem. We just know that we feel listless and our lives seem empty, lacking any meaning or direction.
